Phoenix is a regular stop for world-famous musicians, so don’t forget to check out which chart-topping musicians will be taking the stage at Phoenix theatres and venues during your next vacation in AZ. This summer, there’s truly something for everyone.

  1. Phoenix Summer ConcertsMumford & Sons. Mumford & Sons won a Grammy for their album “Babel” in 2013, and they’re coming to Phoenix theatres this summer. The English folk-rock band has taken the world by storm with a whirlwind of haunting lyrics, rapturous harmonies, and infectious joy. See them June 5 at the Desert Sky Pavilion.

  1. She & Him at the Comerica Theatre. She & Him features quirky-film darling Zooey Deschanel and M Ward as two halves of an indie folk band with a sound sweeter than organic honey. They’ll be sharing tunes from their soon-to-be-released Volume 3, and you won’t find a more achingly lovely duet in any other Phoenix theatres this summer. The show is on June 18.

  1. Pitbull & Ke$ha. Southern-style crunk and high-octane pop-rap join forces for this explosive and unforgettable concert at Desert Sky Pavilion. The Pitbull and Ke$ha North American Tour features singles from both artists’ latest albums, “Global Warming” and “Warrior,” as well as solo hits and collaborations from the past. See them on June 19.

  1. Kid Rock at Desert Sky Pavilion. Kid Rock shot to superstardom back in the late ‘90s with a dynamic blend of hip hop and rock ‘n’ roll, but he’s since branched out into a variety of genres. If you’re on vacation in AZ this July, see him with guests Uncle Kracker and Kool & the Gang on the 24th.

  1. The Comerica Theatre Hosts “Fun.” Another 2013 Grammy Award-winner (Best New Artist and Song of the Year), Fun. is a sprightly indie pop band that has attracted hordes of fans with their super-peppy hits “We Are Young” and “Some Nights.” Catch them at the end of summer on September 10 with special guests Tegan and Sara.

A summer vacation in AZ in AZ just isn’t complete if you don’t take the time to check out some fantastic music at local Phoenix theatres and venues. It’s not at all difficult to find a big-name show when you’re in town, and the local music scene is just as spectacular. Have fun!
